SENIOR

My son is finally a SENIOR. It is funny he never knew he would get money for finishing school. He can't decide what he wants to spend his money on, a Wii, gun, a psp or more fish. I am hoping and praying he gets this job he is praying for. So please pray that God's will is done with him a the right job. Not much else to post. No new pictures.

Been a while

It has been a while since I posted but there is so much going on in life. I finally got 5 afghans finished to send to Moldova. They were a true blessing for me to make because while making them I was praying for the Missionaries that I knew would be getting them. I am so excited about sending them. I am for those of you that don't know I am attending college online. I am in my 6th course and it is horrible and I thought English 101 was bad. I am working in my 4th week of Cultural Anthropology.Yucko! Even sounds dull and boring. I have this week and next week and then I am moving to another course. I am working on my Bachelor of Business Administration. I just got the news yesterday that the first full week in June I will be going to New Orleans for work. I am getting certified in a few things that will help me advance if this position ever opens up here at Delta. I am making roses for some of my friends. That is about it for now.

My adventure

This is the first rose I have ever made. I found the pattern online but I can't tell you the website right now because the information is at home. I added an outside row to this rose so it is bigger but that is only because my stem was too big for a bud. My co workers love it. I am very proud of it and planning on making a dozen yellow roses to fill my vase at home. That is my half granny square shawl that it is laying on.

My Purses

I am so proud of my purses. They are like my little babies I hate to get rid of them but I have sold a few. I need to take some pictures of my first purses and everyone can see where I started and where I am now with my purses. I have put them down to make some afghans that are going to Moldova I hope with LORD's help next month. I love to crochet. I also have made a Bible cover also. I need to get that picture posted ASAP!

Jared's Car

This is Jared's first (running) car. He also has a 1977 El Camino, 1977 Firebird and a 1982 Chevy S-10 Tahoe. He wants to learn to work on cars. His dream is to remodel old cars. He loves Nascar. For one Christmas I purchased nothing but #3 items which that is Dale Earnhart's car number. I am not sure if I spelled Dale's last night correct or not. My husband started working for Home Depot so I not get #20 stuff which Tony Stewart is my favorite driver.
Jared is a true blessing, when he was only 6 months old I almost lost him but through GOD's grace I didn't lose my little fellow. He was admitted to Lebonhuer Children's Hospital with blood pressure being 278/176 which is too high for an adult not to mention a 6 month old. But PRAISE GOD he is alive and well. He knows even though he is 18 that GOD has him here for a reason. I want GOD to use my son in a way to reach kids his age.

I am new to this so please....bare with me as I learn to blog. I have friends that have one and I love to read there so I thought why not start one myself so people can get to know me a little better. I will be posting my pictures of the items I have crocheted later.

I live just north of Memphis in a small town called Covington, TN. I have been here all of my 41 years. I have an 18 yr old boy and a 4 yr old Chow mix (which they are in the picture) I have been married for almost 4 years.
